Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) Results 2009
Monday, 25 May 2009: Venkata Naga Ganesh Sai Eswar Routhu of Srikakulam , Shushovan Nayak and Jaideepak Pravatina , both from Visakhapatnam, bagged the first, second and third ranks in the Integrated Common Entrance Test for MBA and MCA (ICET-2009), the results of which were announced here on Monday.

The other seven top rankers are: P. Ramakrishna (Hyderabad); G. Govardhan Srivastav (Visakhapatnam), Muppidi Jaideep Reddy and Abhishek Vyas (both from Hyderabad), Lavanya Kappagantu (Vijayawada) and S. Rajesh Kumar and G. Sai Krishna Reddy (both from Hyderabad).

Releasing the results at a media conference, AP State Council of Higher Education Chairman K.C. Reddy said that 93.61 per cent of the total 2,01,735 candidates who had appeared had qualified in the examination. The percentage of females who qualified was slightly higher at 94.23 per cent (out of 63,285) as against males which was 93.30 per cent (out of 1,25,552 who had appeared).

The original rank cards will be sent to them by post in a week's time. Principal Secretary to Government (Higher Education) Asutosh Mishra, AU Vice-Chancellor B. Satyanarayana, Secretary (Higher Education) Christopher, Vice-Chairman of APSCHE Tataji, ICET-2009 Convener P.S.N. Raju and Media Coordinator P. Bobby Vardhan were present at the release function.
