Andhra Pradesh Horticultural University invites applications for B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture degree programme for the academic year 2009-10.

Last date for the receipt of filled in application forms: 10.07.2009

Application Cost: Rs.100/- for General and Rs.50/- for SC / ST candidates

Mode of Payment (DD):
Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Comptroller, Andhra Pradesh Horticultural University", payable at Tadepalligudem on any Nationalized Bank.
Application Forms:

• Through Website: Candidates are required to download the appropriate application form from the website www.aphu.edu.in.
  Duly completed Application form, DD along with 2 self addressed and stamped envelope (5 rupees each) should reach on or before 10.07.2009 either in person or by post to The Convenor, Horticet-2009, Andhra Pradesh Horticultural University, Admn. Office: Dcc Bank Buildings, Tadepalligudem - 534 101, West Godavari District.

Eligbility:

• A pass in Diploma in Horticulture course from APHU/ANGRAU. (Those who will be completing in 2009-10 academic year can also apply).
  
• Age Limit: The candidates should complete 17 years of age as on 31st December and should not be more than 22 years for all candidates but relaxed to 25 years in respect of S.C. & S.T. candidates and 27 years in respect of Physically Challenged (disabled) candidates.
  
• Reservations: As per existing rules.
  
• Entrance: Admissions will be made strictly as per the rule of reservations and based on merit through the Entrance test which will be in Telugu (objective type) to be conducted at College of Horticulture, Andhra Pradesh Horticultural University, Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari District on 26.07.2009 from 10.00 am to 12.00 Noon.
