Applications are invited from the citizens of India who are native of Tamil Nadu for admission to MBBS / BDS Degree Course for 2009-10 session in Govt. / Self-Financing Medical / Dental Institutions coming under the purview of Single Window System (SWC) in the State of Tamil Nadu.

Application Cost:
In Person: Rs.500/- (General); Rs.100/- (for each Special Category - Physically Handicapped / Children of Freedom Fighters / Children of Ex-Servicemen / Eminent Sports persons) and SC / ST candidates are exempted from payment of cost of application and Prospectus. They can obtain the application on written requisition duly enclosing two sets of attested xerox copy of the Community Certificate and a copy of Plus Two Mark Sheet.
Mode of Payment (DD):
Demand Draft in favour of "The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai - 600 010" payable at Chennai from any Nationalised bank. The name and address of the candidate should be written in the reverse of the demand draft.

• In Person: Application forms can be obtained with a written requisition to the Deans / Principal of the below Government Medical Institutions duly enclosing a crossed Demand Draft from the following Colleges:

Applications forms will NOT be issued from the Directorate of Medical Education and Office of the Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai - 10.


• Through Website: Application forms can also be downloaded from www.tnhealth.org and send the application along with the crossed Demand Draft. (Rs.500/- or Rs.100/- as the case may be). SC/ST candidates need not enclose Demand Draft.

Candidates applying under Special Category should submit the Special Category Application along with the Common Application Form. For each Special Category one form has to be submitted. Candidates applying under Sports Category should hand over the applications with necessary documents only in person at the Office of the Selection Committee, Chennai - 10.

The completed application forms should reach "The Secretary, Selection Committee, No.162, Periyar E.V.R High Road, Kilpauk, Chennai - 600 010" on or before 17.06.2009, by 05:00 PM.
